I haven't given up on Harrington yet. Though if he can't turn it around this season I want him benched permenently. I'm tired of losing by 3 or 6 because Harrington can't drive down the field with the game on the line.

1. Joey Harrington can still succeed in the NFL.

2. Alex Smith is the next Joey Harrington. Over-rated, and not likely to carry an NFL team.

I agree that Harrington can succeed in the NFL, but probably not with the Lions. This is his year or else. However, if he goes 1-2 or 1-3, expect Garcia to be put in there to try to salvage the season.

With Rogers and Williams back from injury and with the signing of Pollard and with a running game with KJ in the backfield, Harrington is running out of excuses. I know we still have to find a right tackle to replace McDouggle, but I refuse to give that excuse to Harrington.
