I have to agree with the thought that people like the "ones" are not being an active part of this club. I'm 33 years old, been a Lions fan since I was 9. Over the last 24 years I've only seen a steady decline in the possibility of the Lions ever going anywhere. Yeah, they had their few 9-7 years that got them into the playoffs a couple of times, but man, if Tamps Bay can win a Super Bowl, if the White Sox can win the World Series, why can't the Lions even become a threat in the weakest division in the NFL? HEART, they ain't got it!!!!! I'm not just talking about the players, this goes from Ford on down. The last game in the Silverdome, Robert Porche, thanked the fans for their loyalty, to bad certain team members don't have the same type of loyalty. A few bright spots: Scottie Vines, Corey Shechlinger, Big Daddy, Shaun Rodgers, Dre Bly, and yes JOEY HARRINGTON, that boy is to nice for his own good. Do you think Peyton manning would put up with being constantly bullied like Joey does? I don't care who you have as a quarterback in Detroit, they will still look like they suck because they don't have time to see a play unfold. Joey needs to get loud and then work on his trouble areas like seeing the whole field, and not rushing a pass to the first read. Anyway, I could rant some more, but I won't. I hope Millen and Mariucci, and Ford read these things so they know how dissappointed their fans are.

I hate to sound like a broken record. But when I watched the preseason this year, Scottie Vines stood out to me. Then I heard we cut him! Doh. Luckily we signed him, of course as a result of the "ones" going down. I'm not giving up on Roy Williams yet, nor Mike Williams (its a new game for him and he needs more reads, sure he dropped the ball on important plays, but I think he is still getting adjusted). Charles Rogers.... waste of loot.

I completely agree with Doughboy, there is no heart in the team (as I have been saying it for years) and it starts with the Fords first and foremost. Mark my words, the Lions will never be a winning ball club as long as they are owned by the Fords. They need to be sold to a winning organization and let the process start over there. Also, as long as games are still being sold out when the Lions suck royally, there is no incentive for the Fords to make serious changes.
