I have heard all of this sence Wayne Fonts left the team. I'm convinced that we will have to put up with this boring team until the Ford people look out of their Box and see the seats at Ford Field empty. As long as the money is rolling in, nothing will change. If you injoy watching loosers, stick with the Lions.

I second that sentiment. The saddest part is that we have one of the original NFL teams here and year after year we see that same stagnant team. Other cities have had expansion or second version teams move in and become competitors and nothing here changes. Its always the same clutchless team, year after year. Bummer. Now I have to hear it from all of my firends around the country who watched them get blown out.

Uh....David....little fired up, eh?

Me too! I'm fired up over this embarrasing season. I'm tried - tested - true Lions fan through and through. I don't have the bumper stickers, sweatshirts, t-shirts, helmets with the blue and silver stripes....can't afford that stuff. But I sure love me some Lions football. However, I can be fired up about some crappy football playing. In fact, we all can be. We can ride these guys backs all day long....but ain't crap gonna happen until someone (read - Bill Ford) grows a pair and steps up to the media hand held tape recorders and says something along the lines of "Dear Detroit - It's with great regret that I say this. We've had a most embarrasing season and $50 million from my elustrious bank account is now dedicated to building a stronger team - I'm dumping Mooch - I'm dumping Harrington - I'm demanding that Garcia retires and heads to the beach - I'm even making it clear to Mr. Millen that his days are numbered, too. Forgive me for running this organization the way I did this season and my committment is to this town - you fans - and this team." Media response - "Sir, are you anticipating the playoffs for next season?" Response from above quotee - "Playoffs? Playoffs? I'm not talking about playoffs? I'm just trying to win a few more games!"

SleePac - out!

How many more heads will roll before the realization that a little better than average linebacker is not a GM? Millen can hire, fire, draft, make excuses, etc..... but he has the second worst record over the past 75 games next to Arizona and there is too much talent for that to be the case. They were not playing for Mooch but that is only part of the problem. Millen is lost and has no business being in the position he is in. As a former linebacker he obviously liked praying on weak offensive lines and that is apperant as that is what he has put together. You can only blame those around you for so long. Millen is a complete waste of time and money. By the way Millen, Fords, or whomever it matters too...I am a fan, but I buy no licensed merchendise, have never bought a ticket, and will not purchase from game day sponsors until you can prove you can put a descent product on the field. I refuse to contribute to your debacle in any way and until you make a descent product on the field I assume everyone who chooses to advertise with you wants to let everyone know they have a bad product as well.

OK, It's high time the Fords look at the real problem, its the idiot they have running this thing, Millen, not Mooch. Good God people, he is a jarheaded moron, sorry Marines, no insult to ya, that needs to go, and then beg Mooch to come back. As far as our "interim" coach, worthless low life, any man would have said no and stood up to the idiot Millen and told him he is WRONG in this decision.

FORDS, GET RID OF YOUR PROBLEM, THE #$% KISSING MILLEN.
