I am launching a Detroit based blog site at detroitnation.net

My goal is to have a place for Metro Detroiters to have a free place to blog about like minded topics (Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, U-M, local restaurants, hobbies, events….).

I think sports will ultimately be a big part of it. It is created on the wordpress format so I know you will be familiar with it’s ease of use.

I would love for you to check it out keeping in mind that you are one of the first people that I have contacted on the web about this. Just finished creation yesterday! If you wished you could put your blog in our site as well and link back to here or whatever you wish. Hopefully, our site will grow and create more readers for you.

If nothing else, I would love to hear your feedback and any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

We are currently redesigning the site and added lots of staff positions that need to be filled.

Would you be interested in keeping a Lions blog (much like you do here)? I’ll give you more details if you are. It would give you a chance to meet many helpful sources and connections. It would also give you great exposure, putting your foot in the door of the sports media world.
