Missing Campbell can’t help in and of itself, but maybe it may force them to come up with a rushing scheme which just may be crazy enough to work. If they want to have any success at all this season, they may have to learn to run.

I hope the front four can get some penetration. I think they have a decent crew, they just need to bust in and give little Griese some trouble.

I look for the LIONS to use many 4 rec. sets (is C. Johnson healthy?) forcing the Bears to play 2 rookie DBs. Would like to see some “hurry-up” offense v. Bears. I am also about ready to demand that M. Furrey play both ways. And if that pussy R. Williams takes himself out of the game after not being thrown the ball again, I hope Martz brains him. After some sideline routes (along the home side) when he did not get the ball, he has waved himself out and sauntered back to the team, missing the next play. Jerry Rice didn’t do this. R. Moss used to.

Grossman being benched is just about the worst thing that could have happened to the LIONS this week.
