Who is Gilligan, the Professor and the Howell's in the sinking ship, inquiring minds ask? The worst thing about Marinelli, as far Millen is concerned, is that they are likely a package deal. If Millen goes thus goes Marinelli, too.]

In regards to Marinelli, his football guy stuff is wearing thin. I loved it at first, but his "one snap at a time", getting into the right "fits", sticking to "gap" responsibilities are beginning to drone. He seems short on any sort of answers to the Lions demise.

His attribution of guilt to himself and his coaches also is something I take issue with. The players are desperate for a convenient excuse and will take one at a moment's notice. They will be all too glad to put blame on the coaching staff. Also, the more he assumes responsibility, the more I think that he may be right, which shakes his credibility.

I can live with them coming up short of victory, it's the 30 pt losses that I think are unacceptable.

I admit that Millen impressed me early with the "devout coward" comment. It gave me the illusion that this was a football guy. A guy who knew how to motivate and push his men. Well, the only place he's pushed these guys towards is the abyss. I think Millen would make a great positional coach. Mr. 30-82 has to go. I've given up. I assume they will lose their last two. Why? To follow the above poster, I agree that the SS Detroit Minnow is lost. This three hour tour has turned into a comedy. If only Millen had the brilliance of the Skipper . . .

The Lions don't stand for anything. Millen isn't shaping the team in his image . . . or maybe he is. They are like a ship without a rudder. And because they have a horrible captain (Millen) and an okay first mate (Marinelli) there is clearly a mutiny on board. Millen has to go - they need someone that can build a football team. I still think Marinelli is the right guy for the job but if his boss is a douchebag then what good is it having a coach that knows his stuff?
