Only this guy, in what has been called a “performance business”, would talk about the foundation that they are building, smack dab in the middle of his 31-83 tenure.

The truth is, Marinelli is 1-9 in his last 10 games. There is no FREEKIN “FOUNDATION, the whole clusterf@ck is an unmitigated disaster.

This whole character, discipline and work ethic thing is a sham. It is meant as appeal of sorts, to buy the organization some time, sapping the midwestern protestant sentiment that if you work hard and keep your mouth shut, good things will happen.

Which to anybody who has a real understanding of how life actually works, realizes is complete and utter bullshit. It really is about being able to look at yourself in the mirror, unremittingly. Something I am sure that Millen can’t do…

Unfreaking real. This guy has no clue or concept. They now have a “foundation?” Where is this “foundation?” It certainly isn’t in the offensive line. It certainly isn’t in the quarterback situation (although I’m willing to give the Spartan a try). It certainly isn’t in the backfield (Maybe–I’m hoping for Smith). It sure as hell is not in the defensive line. In the defensnive backfield? Where is this freaking foundation?

Oh, wait, he is talking about discipline and work ethic. Is that right? Good for them. Great job. That makes me smile approvingly. Of course there is no real talent which will allow that hard work to pay off.

I would like Mr. Millen to give us some specifics. How is the O-line going to improve? How do you intend on developing a pass rush? What is your long term solution at quarterback? Will Kitna start throwing to HIS OWN receivers?

Damn it all to the Devil’s Domain.
