This is by far the greatest day of my life. It makes watching Kwame go down the drain minor even though he’ll probably “come back” like LL Cool J and get re-elected. This is better than watching Barry and bum-behind Scott Mitchell take us to the playoffs. This is just a great moment for me and this blog. I just hope that they decide to get this thing over with sooner than later. I believe that significant damage has already been done. I hear a lot of under 30 sportstalk callers who have no connections whatsoever with the Lions and could care less. They cannot even remember the Lions being borderline competitive. I fear that the remainder of these young sports fans, those who have held out hope, will just let it go and we will no longer have a claim to being a “football” town.
Change has got to come and what happens in the next few days may have a long term affect on this “organization.”

Nice touch, Hondo. It will nice to see how this internal tangle of a$$holes and elbows sorts itself with the Ford’s.

The jaded Lions fan in me expects them to still louse the whole thing up, but just like everything else in life, this organizational moment’s day has come. They have no choice.
