Hey Steve,

Couldn't find an email address to contact you at so I thought I'd just leave a comment.

My name's Jeff Little and I've got the newest Lions blog on the block, The Church of Schwartz.(http://churchofschwartz.com) Previous to that, I'd been running SportsOpinion.ca for the last couple years. The Lions have always been my passion though and now I'm pursuing that. The reason I'm writing you is that I'm trying to put together a group of the most popular and prolific Lions bloggers. I'd like to run a weekly series where I ask three burning questions and then post the answers from each blogger.

The way it'll work is that I'll email the questions out to the interested bloggers every Monday. Each question will only require a short response, no need to write novels. I'll give you a few days to answer the questions and then post the answers either Wednesday or Thursday morning. In every article, there'll be multiple links to your blog, as well as the latest article on your blog. You're free to re-post the content on your blog also.

I hope you'll be interested in this offer and I eagerly await your response.

Thanks,

Jeff (Reverend Spielman)

Steve, I totally agree. If we get a good guy, I don't care where we pick or where the pick comes from. As far as I'm concerned they could take Malaluaga (sp) 1st and if he is the stud everyone says who cares if a linebacker goes #1. We haven't had a true defensive leader in the middle for years.

Mike, you are right, but this, among other comments, will be part of the stream that are quoted between now and draft day. Furthermore, I couldn't give a rat's ass if the Lions make it known that are going to take a linemen or linebacker, I am skeptical that any team would honestly consider trading up anyhow. Your concern is correct, but this is the one time that I hope the Lions get it right, even if it means declaring their intentions openly.

Yukon, he has to EARN that thousand yard stare, that you have grown to love. I would assume, and it is only an assumption, that the beginning of that ulcerous expression would be after Matthew Stafford has thrown his third interception of the game during week 7...

I love this talk although it probably couldn't come at a worse time. If they are indeed playing poker with the draft, all the other teams are going to be pretty comfy with us taking an OL at #1 (I hope)

I saw Schwartz's interview during the Wings' game last night. Oddly enough, a Lion shows up and the Wings lose. Anyway, I really like what he has to say, but just how long before he sheds the youthful appearance and gets that familiar "pained" expression that all Lions coaches seem to have.
