I fully agree with the above point of view, the original I do not think so, but you have to write the article too convincing, NFL Draftso I decided to agree with your views.

Randy, I was very pro-Mooch upon his hiring, and anti-Mooch, at the time of his termination. That being said, as each year passes, his coaching and personnel acumen looks better, as the Lions continue to languish.

I believe that he may have been a poor fit in Detroit, and Millen's incompetence really hurt him. Notice that Mariucci's name hardly comes up for potential job opportunities, post Lions coaching career.

We'll see if Marty Mornihnweg ends up with a job, if he does, Mooch could be a potential hire, down the line. It is interesting that being a failed Lions coach seems to be a "scarlet letter" for coaches, of sorts.

Millen certainly landed on his feet, dumbass!

I remember hearing Steve Mariucci telling the story how, in SF, he worked with great GM's and thought he could import some of that knowledge to Matt Millen. Millen told him, Don't worry about anything here, "I" have it covered. With that, he preceeded to not listen to anyone and single handedly destroyed each year of his drafts.
