Why not? As long as he can play and there isn’t guaranteed money involved, but an incentive based contract is used- I think they can’t lose.

A defensive line is better with a quality rotation, for stamina purposes. Schwartz likes players who are able to play multiple positions, and Hargrove and Corey Williams can play both outside as DE's, and slide to the inside on passing downs(think Kevin Carter, in his prime). Hargroves flourishes in that role, actually. I believe that Corey Williams, Hill, and hopefully, Suh or McCoy could be a really good start for the Lions defensive front.
