Thanks for sticking with me, Mike. I have been pressed for time, because I had been working two jobs (one of the temporary). I will hopefully be doing a little better job.

Berry fits the profile of multi-dimensional player for Schwartzingham's defense. He may be the best prospect not named Suh or McCoy available in this draft, too.

Receivers are being given a way of late, for sure. Ginn is a head scratcher because he shows signs of talent, but was mostly a non-entity in Miami.

I would have spared a 5th rounder on Santonio Holmes, too. Now there's some Pacman-styled baggage!

First of all, thank you for the new post. I was so sick of looking at that picture of Adam Jones.

I too, liked Casey and I share your wish for good things for him and his family.

Now to the draft...I'm not sure that a DT is a lock for Mayhew. He seems to be pretty conservative with a buck. He may decide to take an OT just because he doesn't wanna pay Suh (or McCoy)for his position. I also wonder if he would entertain the idea of taking Eric Berry at #1. Its another position that he won't want to pay, but given the additions of Vanden Bosch and the other tackle from the Browns, a great addition to the seconday has to be tempting. Given the way that Bob Sanders, Ed Reed, and Troy P. take over games from the safety position, it has to be at least in his thought process.

But ok, it'll probably be Suh, so let's hope he lives up to the hype...Who will it be in round 2??

Oh, can you believe that Ted Gin went for a 5TH ROUND PICK?? If I were Mayhew, I would have gladly given up our 4th round pick just for his return skills alone. Crazy good deal for them, crazy.
